A bomb threat during a NATO congress forced the evacuation of 150 people and the closure of streets in central Madrid.

This Wednesday, Spanish police evacuated a building and sealed off several streets in the center of Madrid, Spain, after receiving a bomb threat.

The alert was raised at 14:30 due to an explosive device at the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI), where the NATO congress is taking place.

After a thorough analysis of the building, no bomb was found, and official sources claim that it was a “false alarm.” World.

As a result of the incident, more than 150 people were evacuated from the building and the streets were closed to traffic.

Other public buildings, such as the National Archaeological Museum and the National Library, were also forced to close due to possible terrorist threats.

The NATO Congress was attended by representatives of the Spanish Ministries of Science and Innovation, Defense and Foreign Affairs, as well as numerous scientists, doctors and academics, as well as Spanish army officers.
