The attacker and the victim lived together in a vacant house until the victim moved into a boarding house and took with him a bag of clothes borrowed by the defendant. On July 14 last year they met on Rua Serpa Pinto in Viseu.
The offended party was wearing a T-shirt that belonged to the accused, who had already asked him to return the clothes, and they began to argue. They then began to physically attack until the accused pulled out a knife and stabbed him at least 13 times, injuring several people.
Several witnesses were questioned on Thursday, including a municipal police officer who responded to the scene. “He said another person started it, his hands were scratched and bloody,” he said.
