The Liberal Initiative today opposed the possible presence of the Brazilian President at the next official meeting on April 25, with the President of Parliament highlighting Portugal’s institutional proximity to the country.
A few moments before the start of parliamentary work on the first day of the new legislative session, the President of the Liberal Initiative, Rui Rocha, asked for the floor to talk about the “conduct of work”.
“In recent days, Lula da Silva has made a number of statements regarding the entry of Vladimir Putin. [Presidente da Federação Russa] on Brazilian territory, declaring that Putin would not be arrested. This is when it becomes known that there is an international mandate from the International Criminal Court to detain Vladimir Putin after investigating war crimes, crimes against humanity and even genocide,” Rui Rocha said.
