A 14-year-old minor drowned after diving into a river in Prado, Vila Verde, on Saturday afternoon.
The alarm was raised at around 7pm and the young man was removed by members of the public. He then went into cardiopulmonary arrest, but the situation changed at the scene.
Vila Verde firefighters, supported by a medical ambulance and intensive care unit, transported the vehicle to the Braga hospital. It was in this hospital department that death was pronounced. Members of the Sapadores de Braga and the PNP were also present at the scene.
For what CM As it turned out, the young man, a resident of Vila Verde, was diving into the river with friends from the Prado Bridge. Friends received help from psychologists on the spot.
