Water supplies were limited on Tuesday in Rua Sánchez Coelho and Rua da Cruz Vermelha streets in Lisbon due to a broken pipeline. Repair work was carried out at 10 a.m., EPAL reports.
In a statement, the water company said work was already underway to repair the break, which affected the water supply to some consumers on both streets in the parishes of Nossa Señora de Fatima and Avenidas Novas.
“The intervention will affect traffic flow, so it is suggested that other alternative routes be taken,” he said.
EPAL – Empresa Portuguesa das Águas Livres calls for “the understanding of all customers and motorists and advises that every effort will be made to complete the work quickly.”
