A 15-year-old girl died this Wednesday after being stabbed in Croydon, south London. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene and was arrested and a murder investigation was launched.
According to BBC NewsThe Metropolitan Police said they were working with British Transport Police to “get on the trail” of the teenager.
“Our thoughts are with the family of this young woman who has faced the most tragic news. Our officers are with the girl’s family to support them,” Chief Inspector Andy Brittain said.
Croydon Mayor Jason Perry also said he was “devastated to learn that a teenager who was stabbed in the city center this morning has tragically died.”
