This Sunday, a shellfish harvester fell from a four-meter-high cliff near Magoito beach in the São João das Lampas area of Sintra.
The alarm came at 10:25. The 34-year-old victim was rescued by the Sintra fire brigade using ropes.
An aircraft and a NCIS vessel were called, but this was not necessary. The man was taken to Amadora Sintra Hospital with a dislocated shoulder and several bruises.
ABOUT CM You know that fishermen often venture into this area, which is known to be dangerous and difficult to access.
19 operatives from the Sintra Fire Service, INEM and GNR ambulances and intensive care units, supported by six vehicles, were at the scene.
