In the video, the Brazilian said that he saw a scene from the film when terrorists invaded the festival. Ranani said he drove several kilometers before finding a shelter to stay at.
Ranani lived in Tel Aviv with friends, worked as a courier and dreamed of becoming a DJ in Brazil. According to his girlfriend, who was also present at the festival, quoted by G1the young man served in Israel.
On social media, Rafaela Traistman mourned the death of her boyfriend and thanked Ranani for saving her life.
“My angel, I am so grateful to you for your affection, for making me feel happy, for taking care of me, for protecting me. Even when we were on the verge of death, you never missed an opportunity to greet me, to reassure me. I owe you my life, you saved mine. If there is a hero in this whole story, then that hero is you, my love,” Rafaela wrote.
According to friend Ranani, whose words are quoted G1, the couple and one of their friends had to play dead to stay alive. “I remember Ranani telling me not to look because there were dead people lying on top of us. We used their bodies to avoid the blows,” he said.
