Rain caused 30 floods and four displaced people in the Portalegre area
Heavy rain on Tuesday in the Portalegre area caused 30 floods before 4 pm on public roads and homes, leaving four people homeless in Ponte de Sor, a civil protection source said.
A source from the Portalegre District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) told the Luz agency that four displaced persons, a woman and three children, two of whom are minors, are living on Rua 1.º de Mayo in Ponte de Sor, having been alerted to this incident was given at 09:50.
