The Palace of Versailles in France was evacuated again due to a bomb threat

The Palace of Versailles in France was evacuated on Tuesday due to a bomb threat, according to reports. BFMTV, citing police sources.

Let us remind you that this Saturday the premises were evacuated for the same reasons.

On X (formerly Twitter), the Palace of Versailles communications service mentions an evacuation for “security reasons.”

“For security reasons, the Palace of Versailles has withdrawn visitors and is closing its doors today, Tuesday, October 17th. Thank you for your understanding,” the statement said.

The palace reopened around 3:30 pm local time (2:30 pm in Lisbon), according to a management post on X.
