Polish police have detained a 22-year-old man who posed as a mannequin from a store in a Warsaw shopping center to commit an after-hours robbery.
“A 22-year-old young man with a bag in his hand remained motionless, pretending to be a mannequin in front of a store window,” the police began to explain this Wednesday, as quoted by the publication. Reuters.
“So he wanted to avoid being exposed to the cameras. [de videovigilância]”, the authorities explained.
The suspect had previously committed other robberies at shopping centers after they closed. In accordance with Reutersthe man had already stolen jewelry, money from the cash register and other items.
The man faces a sentence of ten years in prison.
