French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Israel on Tuesday to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Macron intends to call for the start of a peace process.
The French President has already met with some of the families of French-Israeli Hamas victims.
“We are connected with Israel by mourning. Thirty of our compatriots were killed on October 7. Nine more are still missing or held hostage. In Tel Aviv, together with their families, I expressed the solidarity of the nation,” the French head of state wrote in the newspaper . X (formerly Twitter).
