A car accident caused serious injuries this morning in Braganca. The fire department alert at 7:10 a.m. reported a crashed vehicle on Santa Apolonia Avenue in that city.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters came across an immobilized car heading towards Cantarias Flor da Ponte. The cause of the accident is unknown.
A 20-year-old man was imprisoned inside, hanging.
The young man had to be pulled out, which was promptly assisted by the Braganza VMER team, who considered the young man’s injuries to be serious, but not life-threatening.
The driver, also the same age as the victim, remained unharmed in the accident and was driving the PSP of Braganza. PSP remains on site to ensure safety and await the arrival of the E-REDES picket due to damage to street lighting.
