A man in his 50s died this Thursday in Porto as a result of a knife wound to the throat. The Judicial Police (PJ) is investigating the possibility of murder, a PSP source told Lusa.
The alarm was raised at 9:32 a.m. and the suicide scenario began from the moment of admission, but with the intervention of PJ, the hypothesis of a murder that occurred in a house on Rua de Santos Pousada in Porto grew, the source said. .
When emergency services arrived at the scene, the man “had a severed jugular vein and went into cardiopulmonary arrest and was pronounced dead at the scene,” a police source said.
However, the body was taken to the Porto Institute of Forensic Medicine, he added.
