Prime Minister Antonio Costa is the subject of an independent investigation carried out by the State Ministry as part of an investigation opened in the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGR) announced on Tuesday.
“Moreover, during the investigation, it was revealed that the suspects invoked the name and authority of the Prime Minister and his intervention to unblock procedures in the above-mentioned context. Such references will be independently analyzed as part of the investigation initiated by the Supreme Court as it is the competent authority,” the PGR said in a note issued on Tuesday.
This information comes after the operation to produce lithium and green hydrogen.
