Arrested for illegally selling tickets for the Portugal-Iceland match

This Sunday, a man was arrested for illegally selling tickets for the Euro 2024 football qualifying match Portugal-Iceland (2-0) at the José Alvalade Stadium, the Public Security Police (PSP) announced this Sunday.

Lisbon PSP detained a man suspected of illegally selling tickets and confiscated €325 and 13 cards from a supermarket chain in a security operation that resulted in two reports: one for not having a sports venue assistant card and another for trying to enter without a ticket.

A protocol on an administrative offense was also drawn up for attempting to enter the territory of a sports facility.

Portugal, already qualified for the Euro 2024 men’s championship, beat Iceland with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Ricardo Horta.
