Montenegro calls Pedro Nuno Santos “the most fanatical defender” of “gonsalvism”

PSD President Luis Montenegro believes that this invention represents a “modern version” of “gonzalism”, the “most fanatical defender of which” is Pedro Nuno Santos, as well as “Cinderella” Mariana Mortagua.

“We didn’t even specifically hold this congress on November 25, when the country will once again have the opportunity to say no to Gonsalvismo, this Saturday decorated in a modern version, christened as a gizmo,” he said.

The leader of the Social Democrats believed that “his most fanatical defender is called Comrade Pedro and there is a Cinderella named Comrade Mortagua.”

Luis Montenegro spoke at the opening of the 41st Congress of the PSD, which will take place this Saturday in Almada, Setubal district.

“The principles are the same: nationalization, occupation of the state apparatus, low wages for everyone, subsidies, political intolerance, arrogance, institutional degradation and the new socialist, blockist and communist design, maximum taxes and minimum public services,” he listed.

In his first speech before the congress, the PSD president indicated that the date and place of this great social democratic meeting “were not indifferent”, representing “an opportunity to remind the Portuguese that freedom is never a guaranteed value in certain terms.” .

“Freedom is built and guaranteed on the basis of moderation, tolerance and responsibility. Extremism, radicalism, immaturity, whether on the left or the right, undermine freedom of choice and the fullness of democratic values,” he emphasized.

Luis Montenegro did not mention the proposed amendment to the Statutes that led to the convening of the 41st Congress, a topic that was left to the discretion of PSD Vice President Miguel Pinto Luz.
