A 55-year-old man forgot his wife on the side of the road after he stopped his car to urinate on Christmas Day in Thailand.
The couple was on a trip at three in the morning in the province Maha Sarakham when Bount Chaimun had to stop his car to go to the bathroom. Eventually, the man parked the car on the side of the road, and the woman, Amnuay Chaimun, reportedly asked him why he hadn’t stopped at a gas station earlier. He did not respond with a riot and, getting out of the car, did not notice that the woman had also got out of the car.
According to the New York Post, after returning, Amnuay could not believe that her husband went on a trip without her.
Faced with the situation, the woman decided to walk to the Kabinburi area, which is 20 kilometers away. At five in the morning, Amnuay arrived at her destination and introduced herself to the authorities so that they could call her husband, as she had left her mobile phone in the car.
Three hours later, the police succeeded finally establish contact with a person who has already left for the province of Korat, located 159.6 kilometers away.
Buntom said he believed the woman was asleep in the back seat of the car. The man complained that he had forgotten his wife, and Amnuay said that they did not argue when he went after her.
