Lidor Levy and Nitzan Rahum, 28, died during the Hamas attack on a music festival in Israel on October 7. They were engaged and expecting a child.
Family members said that hours before the massacre, the couple announced that they were expecting a child at a dinner attended by everyone.
According to Times of IsraelThe couple went to the festival with other family members. At the time, Nitzan was four months pregnant.
When they noticed the presence of Hamas soldiers at the Supernova festival site, Lidor and Nitzan took refuge in a roadside shelter, but were surrounded and killed. The bodies were discovered a few days later and buried nearby.
“That Friday, our whole family celebrated in Ashkelon, played billiards, and you [Lidor e Nitzan] shared his exciting pregnancy with us,” said Nofar Beliak, Lidor’s cousin.
