PCP Secretary General Paulo Raimundo said this Saturday that “it is positive that everything has been clarified” regarding the process in the house of the PSD leader, emphasizing that Luis Montenegro is “the first person interested” in these clarifications.
Speaking to journalists in Braga, during a visit to the living nativity scene in Priscos, Paulo Raimundo recalled that the process is already long-standing and that Luis Montenegro has already expressed his readiness to clarify everything.
“I think it is positive to clarify everything, and I am convinced that Montenegro is the first to have everything cleared up quickly,” Raimundo said, declining to make any further comments on the matter.
Porto prosecutors have launched an investigation into alleged tax benefits attributed to housing in Montenegro, Espinho, following an anonymous complaint.
The SDP chairman felt the investigation represented a “great opportunity” to close the case, reiterating that it had not been treated favorably.
