Of the 7,209 traffic violations identified, GNR allocated 1,690 for speeding, 447 for alcohol abuse, and 272 for failure to wear or improperly use a seat belt and/or car seat.
According to the data, 157 administrative offenses were recorded for the improper use of a mobile phone while driving, 720 for the lack of mandatory periodic technical inspection and 296 for the lack of mandatory civil liability insurance.
During the operation, which concludes today, the GNR will continue to prioritize enforcement of drink and drug driving, speeding and mobile phone misuse.
