According to the National Information System for Water Resources (SNIRH), the amount of stored water increased in December in 10 river basins and decreased in two compared to the last day of the previous month.

Of the 60 monitored reservoirs, in 16 water availability exceeded 80% of the total volume, and in another 16 it was below 40%.

According to SNIRH data available this Thursday, at the end of December Barlavento (7.7%), Arade (24.6%), Mira (30.8%) and Sado (40.5%).
