Sporting extended their lead in the Portuguese Football League today by beating Estoril Praia 5-1 at home to remain 100% home winners in the first leg of round 16.
Marcus Edwards at 21 and 45+2, Pedro Alvaro at 51 in his own goal, Pedro Goncalves at 69 and Trincao at 78 scored the goals for the Lions, while Cassiano scored for the Lions. Canarinews, 82 years old.
In the classification, Ruben Amorim’s eleven have 40 points against 36 for Benfica (playing on Saturday in Arouca) and 34 for Porto (currently in Boavista), while Estoril Praia remains with 17 points and is currently ninth place.
