A man kills a woman, digs a hole to bury her, and tells his children that their mother ran away because she had a terminal illness.

A man from Nashville, USA, killed his wife with a hammer, dug a hole in the family plot and drove about 100 kilometers to bury her. During the interrogation of his children, he said that the woman ran away due to an incurable illness. He was detained after confessing to the crime.

Joseph Glynn, 70, was arrested Saturday after admitting to the murder of 76-year-old Jackie Glynn. The crime occurred on the first day of the year. The next day, the man put the woman’s body in a box and drove about 96 kilometers to the family home, where he buried her. The hole had previously been dug by a man who was paid to perform the service, the newspaper reported. New York Post.

Glyn told her children that their mother left home because she was terminally ill. However, the children did not believe it and turned to Jackie’s doctor, who told them that the woman was not sick.

The children alerted police, who began a search and found the body in a recently filled hole on Friday. The woman’s car was later found in another location. According to police, citing New York Postit was Joseph who put the car in that place.

The man also sold several of the woman’s belongings after her death and also contacted a property manager to sell the property where he buried the victim.

The suspect is accused of murder, desecration of a corpse and tampering with evidence, according to New York Post.

The first hearing is scheduled for this Tuesday.
