According to the SNS portal, the average waiting time for emergency patients exceeded 15 hours at 9:15 am this Thursday at the Beatriz Angelo Hospital in Loures and more than nine hours at the Hospital de Viseu.
The data presented on the NHS Portal relates to the average waiting time for care over the past two hours, and the number of patients represented illustrates the number of people currently waiting for care after screening.
This Thursday at 9:15 am at the Beatrice Angelo Hospital the wait time was 15 hours 32 minutes, compared to the recommended time of 60 minutes, with 33 patients waiting with a yellow bracelet.
At San Teotonio Hospital in Viseu, the wait time was nine hours and 48 minutes, with nine people waiting, and at Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon, it was six hours and 29 minutes, with six people wearing a yellow bracelet.
At the Cascais Hospital emergency department, waiting times for emergency patients were five hours and five minutes, with four people wearing a yellow bracelet.
In the Porto region, waiting times were significantly shorter: in Sao João the wait was one hour and 31 minutes, and in Santo Antonio the waiting time was within the recommended time for emergency patients of 59 minutes.
