A man died of grief after his daughter was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Merseyside, England.
Angela Courtney, 47, was preparing to spend her last Christmas with her family when she received news of the death of her father, Tony, 70, on December 14. The family believes the man died “of a broken heart.”because I just couldn’t watch her die.”
“We love the consolation that he died before her because he couldn’t take it anymore,” Tony’s youngest daughter said. Angela died three weeks after her father, on the third of January.
“When her father died, everyone focused on Angela. I had to go and tell Angela in the hospital. It was terrible. She cried and said that all she wanted was a good Christmas. .
