Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is meeting this Monday in Buenos Aires with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolás Maduro in a parallel meeting during the new Brazilian leader’s first official visit to Argentina.
The confirmation of the meeting between Lula da Silva and Maduro came after a change in commitments on the agenda of the President of Brazil, although the possibility of this meeting was already expressed in the local press, citing sources in Brasilia, around six bilateral meetings of the Brazilian head of state in Argentina, including a meeting with the President Cuba by Miguel Diaz-Canel.
The Brazilian President arrived in Argentina on Sunday for a visit during which he will launch two integration projects that will be the starting point for regaining the positions lost in international affairs by his predecessor, Jair Bolsonaro.
