BE states that Chega “is a representative of economic, financial and real estate interests”

This Monday, the BE coordinator accused Chega of being a “representative” of “big economic, property and financial interests” that finance the party and “are the opposite of what the country needs” because they “only want to know about their own benefits. “

“That’s why we fight Chega. Because we always fight with the owners of all this,” said Mariana Mortagua in the Galician Parliament, in Santiago de Compostela, where she met with Ana Ponton, leader of the Gallego Nationalist Bloc (BNG), and expressed her conviction that this will be the “next president of Galicia” after the February elections.

Asked about Chega’s convention that ended on Sunday, the BE leader noted that “the only assessment to be made is that Chega has become an interest party” and “it is funded by large economic groups, vested and financial interests.”

“The positions that Chega has taken defend specific interests. When Chega takes a position on CTT, it is not Chega who speaks. It was the shareholders of STT who ruined the company by paying themselves dividends in excess of the profits the company had,” he ruled.

For Mariana Mortagua, “Chega is the representative of the financial and real estate interests that are currently paying for Chega’s campaign, which has become the spokesman for these core interests.”

“These interests are the opposite of what the country needs, the opposite of good wages, a good life for people. These are interests that only care about their own benefit,” he emphasized.

According to Bloc coordinator de Esquerda, the March legislative elections “are discussing answers to the problems that people face every day,” so there must be “clarity in what each party stands for, to have doctors in hospitals, teachers in schools” or “declining house prices.”

“It is necessary to assess what was the absolute majority [do PS]. There is no point in holding inaugurations when the country has such serious problems. It is impossible to erase the past of the absolute majority,” he emphasized.

According to Mariana Mortagua, “it is also not enough to admit mistakes.”

“It is not enough to admit mistakes without pointing out solutions,” he said.

The leader of the bloc argues that “the campaign must be aimed at finding solutions.”

“The parties need to say, and BE has said, what they want to do about the minimum wage, how they are going to lower house prices and hire teachers for all students, which in Portugal is real environmental policy, not the painted speech of the Greens, which is making the problems worse. as in the case of drought,” he pointed out.
