All PS list leaders have been identified to participate in legislative elections

The President of the Department of Socialist Women, Elsa Pais, will head the list of PS candidates in Viseu, while Secretaries of State Isabel Ferreira and Nuno Fazenda will lead the list of candidates in Bragança and Castelo Branco, respectively.

According to the official PS source, it has also been confirmed that State Secretary for Communities Paulo Cafofo will be “number one” among the Madeira Socialists in the next legislative elections.

Lists of candidates for PS deputies are being voted on this evening at a meeting of the National Political Commission, which began about an hour late. Earlier in the afternoon, the leadership led by Pedro Nuno Santos met to resolve last-minute problems, namely issues related to the compilation of lists in districts such as Braga and Coimbra.
