The fire that occurred this Friday damaged three houses in Bansao and Colares, municipality of Sintra, and left three people homeless: an adult and two children, police confirmed. The alarm was declared at 9 am and 30 firefighters from Colares, San Pedro de Sintra and Almosageme were mobilized, as well as the GNR of Colares, the PS and the Municipal Civil Protection Service.
Firefighters will conduct an inspection this afternoon to determine if the three semi-detached houses are habitable, said Commander Pedro Louro.
The fire did not cause any injuries.
