The PSP seized more than 4,000 individual doses of hashish from a 21-year-old man involved in contempt of court at the Figueira da Foz railway terminal in the Coimbra area, as announced this Monday.
The arrest took place at 7.30pm on Friday after police were called to respond to disturbances in the area, according to a statement from security forces sent to the Lusa news agency.
The detainee also had 150 euros in cash and a mobile phone, which were seized.
Having been present at the first interrogation at the Coimbra Judicial Court, the person was required to appear periodically at the criminal police office of his place of residence and was not allowed to leave the municipality of Figueira da Foz.
Back in Figueira da Foz, a 33-year-old man was arrested on Saturday by PSP officers for committing robbery and placed in pre-trial detention.
According to the police, the detainee took advantage of the victim, a 62-year-old man, to break into his home, forcing her through threats and aggression to hand over money and other things.
