The PS in the Lisbon chamber wants President Carlos Moedas (PSD) to file a complaint with the ministry regarding the concentration of police near the Capitol that occurred on Monday without authorization during the election debate.
“The siege of the Capitol during the election debate, pitting the leaders of the Socialist Party and the Social Democratic Party, was widely covered by all media, with the exception of the President of the Lisbon City Council, the only administrative entity with its own powers. in this context, he acted contrary to the national leadership of the PSP, which immediately announced its intention to report all the facts to the prosecutor’s office,” say PS advisers.
Hundreds of police were concentrated on Monday evening at the Capitol in Lisbon, where a televised face-to-face meeting between Pedro Nuno Santos (PS) and Luis Montenegro (PSD) took place, in a spontaneous protest that was not authorized.
