On Wednesday morning, a couple under the age of 30 were left homeless after a fire broke out in an apartment located on the second floor of a building on Rua Justino Teixeira in Porto.
According to CM Near the source of the PSP, the source of fire was a candle that fell on the bed.
The house was left uninhabitable, so the couple who lived there will now be relocated.
The family’s two dogs were temporarily adopted by the official animal collection center (CROA) in Porto.
Firefighters from Porto Sapadores and volunteer firefighters from Porto fought the fire.
Also at the scene were the Municipal Civil Protection Service and PSP, which took responsibility for the incident and is now investigating the cause of the fire.
