This Sunday, the coordinator of the bloc expressed the opinion that only thanks to the strength of the BU and the “left majority, which ensures stability for the country,” will it be possible to save the SNS, a sector in which, according to the leader of the socialists, there are problems.
Mariana Mortagua began the first official day of the campaign for the legislative elections at the Marinha Grande health center in the Leiria district, where she met with the user committee to listen to the concerns of the structure.
“The person who admitted that social media was not doing well was the general secretary of the Socialist Party, because they are not really doing well. The left bloc warned, as we emerged from the pandemic, of the need to invest in social media [Serviço Nacional de Saúde]to avoid what, unfortunately, happened: the departure of professionals and the degradation of the service,” he said, finally speaking to reporters.
For the blocker, the question is how, from March 10, it will be possible to put into practice “solutions to save social networks.”
“And the answer to this question is that the majority is on the side of the left, which ensures stability in the country, but stability is achieved through measures that create a cohesive family health team, and it is the strength of the Left Bloc that can guarantee this, these are the voices in the Left Bloc can guarantee these decisions, and this is our battle in this election,” he said.
Mariana Mortagua didn’t just point out what was wrong with social media, she expressed concern about the solutions that needed to be found, making it clear that “there are two ways that don’t work.”
“The system for checking the transition to the private sector does not work (…) it is a corset system, more expensive, and part of the root of the problems that exist today in the SNA is really related to this, to the private sector.” check instead of creating a more complete and more functional social network,” he criticized.
However, according to the bloc leader, “the answer that the vast majority of PSs have given” does not work, suggesting “a reorganization of services when it does not get to the root of the problems, namely the lack of resources,” criticizing the “lack of vision” to be able to “expand social network” and give it “new life”.
“And the goal of the Left Bloc in this election is to win, and victory means two things: it means that a majority of the left and only a majority of the left guarantees the stability of the country, and only a majority of the left guarantees that we put primary health care first, guarantees family doctor, family nurse and family health team,” he repeated.
Mortagua also added that “only a majority of the left can and does mean that housing payments will go down and that there will be a rent ceiling,” believing that the strength of BE for this majority is crucial.
“We fought the pandemic because we had a social network that was responsive and deserved much better post-pandemic. The professionals deserved much more than what they got. The left bloc fought for this and therefore will continue to fight, and these are the votes in the Bloc that decide whether it is possible and whether it will be possible to have a response to social networks and to have a civil service that responds to the country,” he said.
The day before, at a rally in Viseu, PS leader Pedro Nuno Santos, despite acknowledging that “all is not well” in the SNC, argued that just a few days ago the SNC had demonstrated that it was in “transition.” On the Edge of Technology” when the first liver transplant using robotic surgery was performed at Curry Cabral Hospital in Europe.
“Make no mistake: we must stop them all together – AD, IL and Chega – if we want to save SNS in Portugal,” he warned.
