Canadian actor Kenneth Mitchell died this Saturday at the age of 49 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This was reported on his official Instagram account.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Alexander Mitchell, a beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, son and dear friend to many,” the statement said.
The actor became known for his participation in the Marvel film “Captain Marvel”, the television series “Jericho” and some appearances in “Star Trek”, to which he has already responded.
“The entire Star Trek family sends its condolences to Mitchell’s family, friends, loved ones and fans around the world,” he wrote in a statement.
