PAN spokesperson Ines Sousa Real this Wednesday expressed regret over the green paint protest that hit PSD President Luis Montenegro in Lisbon, but showed solidarity with “the disappointment of young people who are going to pay the bills for the climate”.
In Carcavelos, Ines Sousa Real ruled out any connection between the organization People-Environment-Nature (PAN) and the organizations that carried out the action against Luis Montenegro at the entrance to the Lisbon Tourism Exchange, which is at the same time claimed by the End Fossils movement.
“PAN has nothing to do with these civil society movements. We respect the independence and autonomy of these movements,” the PAN candidate said, adding: “Instead of throwing ink and discussing this action, it would be important to discuss the environmental policies of each political force.”
