Pedro Nuno says commentators only know an edited portion of his speeches

The Secretary General of the PS said this Wednesday that commentators know only the part of his speeches edited by journalists, which is why they conclude that he is, in fact, waging a campaign of attacks on his opponents.

Pedro Nuno Santos made this criticism of the media at the beginning of his speech at a rally in Santarem in Casa do Campino, in which he began by referring to the journalists who follow his campaign.

“To the journalists who were with us and accompanied me, please tell us in the newsrooms that we spend most of our time talking about what we want for the country, and not talking about our opponents. After that they edit and comment, look only at the edited part and think that we are only talking about our opponents,” he said, receiving thunderous applause.

According to Pedro Nuno Santos, at all rallies he talks about “two or three directions” of the PS program. Choose because “otherwise it would take hours, and that can’t happen.”

“But, holy patience, we have an enemy who wants to go back, and we are obliged to condemn him. And we will continue to fight. Have holy patience,” he said soon after.

Afterwards, the PS Secretary General received a long standing ovation when he mentioned the role of the Democratic Alliance (AD) in this campaign.

“They involve Passos Coelho in the campaign, they remember the cuts in pensions, they want to take a step back on the issue of voluntary termination of pregnancy and women’s rights and want us to remain silent? Not a step back,” he promised, raising the issue. the tone of his voice.

Then, in this context, he again addressed the journalists.

“If the editors do not pay attention to the wonderful journalists who accompany us, the alternative will be the complete absence of my speech,” he concluded.
