ADN President refuses to be confused with AD and ensures that the Portuguese are “not stupid”

The President of the National Democratic Alternative (ADN) this Friday rejected any confusion between the party’s acronym and the Democratic Alliance (AD), believing that the Portuguese people are “not stupid”.

Bruno Fiaglio, in a statement to Lusa, responded to the call made two days ago by AD leader Luis Montenegro for all who vote on March 10 to pay attention to the acronym that combines PSD, CDS-PP and PPM.

“For 50 years there has been no confusion between PS and PSD, which also only have one other letter. I think this was not what Luis Montenegro wanted to say, because the Portuguese are not stupid (…). They are trying to minimize the fact that DNA does this and did for two years, our resilience, because the exchange of letters calls the Portuguese stupid, and if that was the intention, it is terrible. If that weren’t the case, and it’s just a fear of what DNA might do by injecting the Assembly of the Republic, because look, it’s like that gentleman who happily resigned, get used to it,” he added.

The leader also commented on the percentage that some polls favor his party (1%).

Bruno Fialho insisted on the veracity of the poll, stating that “even if it did not materialize, it is currently already happening because the ADN is being talked about all over Portugal” and that “at last people have managed to understand the party’s message.”

With the start of the rally scheduled for 16:00, the ADN delegation was greeted by rain, a fact that Bruno Fialho took advantage of, speaking about “climate fraud” and “climate psychopaths who attack even election candidates”, arguing that “young people cannot continue be deceived by climate fraud that only serves to tax [a população] taxes.”

Calling himself a humanist party, the ADN leader said that “the parliamentary elections now will be ideal, but sooner or later it will happen,” without hiding that he has the support of Brazilian citizens who can already vote in Portugal and who support Jair Bolsonaro [anterior presidente do Brasil] as well as evangelists.

“If they consider the ADN to be their party, I count on their votes,” said Bruno Fialho, admitting that he “joins some of Bolsonaro’s policies, especially on economic issues, which, as Lula’s actions show, [da Silva]“Brazil is about to collapse again,” as is the case with the evangelicals: “I also tell you that they are Christians,” he said.

More than 10.8 million Portuguese are called to vote on March 10 to elect 230 members of the Assembly of the Republic.

18 political forces, 15 parties and three coalitions are participating in the elections.
