PSD President Luis Montenegro accused the government this Saturday of overstepping its administrative responsibilities and interfering in the electoral process by sending letters and information to encourage people to vote for the PS.
“I have tried to say as little as possible about this, but what I want to say here is this: what has happened in government at the highest level and therefore at the supervisory level, starting with the Prime Minister’s Office and the Cabinet of Ministers, in the last few weeks it has been a disgrace “Luis Montenegro said at a rally of the Democratic Alliance (AD) in Braga.
According to the president of the SDP, “they pretended that they were not in the leadership, they sent out letters, sent out information, sent out a series of guides to people to check whether they voted in desperation for the PS.”
“This is true. And this confusion between the state and the PS has led to consequences: whenever the PS goes to the government, the state becomes a party and the party remains in the state,” he added.
