Chegi’s deputy called gender ideology a “phenomenon of mental madness”

Chega MP Gabriel Mita Ribeiro, head of the Leiria list, said on Sunday evening that gender ideology is a “phenomenon of mental insanity” and accused the left of waging “permanent psychological warfare.”

Speaking at a dinner/rally in Leiria in the presence of the party president, Mita Ribeiro noted that “the left is reorganizing around the so-called gender ideology, which has taken everyone’s heads by storm through school, language, culture, control of institutions.” .

“We are faced with another phenomenon of collective mental madness. In other words, someone is trying to drive us all crazy,” he accused.

MP Chega stated that there is hatred towards words such as “discovery, homeland, family, civilization, West”, which are “demonized, negative”.

“Like any war, the left is waging a constant psychological war against us, it has devastating psychological consequences,” he said.

Mita Ribeiro said that gender ideology “must be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.”

And he warned: “They won’t go any further from here.”

“We definitely have to say enough is enough with this war against our mental health,” added Gabriel Mita Ribeiro.

The head of the Chega por Leiria list also accused the left of creating “a general cult of ignorance regarding the solutions they propose.”
