The PSD president said this Sunday that the “real stage” of his political plan begins the day after the elections, and assured that he will not be distracted by “small episodes” and will not resort to “political games.”
At a rally in Viseu, in a hall with 1,200 seats, Luis Montenegro reviewed the main commitments of the AD (the coalition uniting PSD, CDS-PP and PPM), focusing on the commitments to young people on the one hand, and to pensioners and pensioners on the other.
“This plan is really about changing the country, this plan is not about winning elections. Obviously, in order to change the country, we need to win the elections, but our political plan will not be exhausted on Sunday, Sunday is just a small step.” the real stage will begin on Monday, March 11,” he said.
In a repeated message, Luis Montenegro said that in the election campaign “many people are busy with other things”, but assured that they will not prevent him from achieving his goal.
“My main goal is not to talk about little things, little episodes, but to explain to Portugal that we have everything to become a more prosperous country and, by being more prosperous, more just,” he said.
Montenegro added that she did not come for “political games” and not for “newspapers or television news.”
“We have come to give happiness to every person and every Portuguese, to allow others to have fun with what is an accessory,” he said in a speech in which he never mentioned his main political opponent, PS secretary general Pedro. Nuno Saints.
However, before Montenegro, SDS-PP leader Nuno Melo, the head of the AD list from Viseu, Antonio Leitan Amaro, and the mayor of Viseu, Fernando Ruas, devoted most of their speeches to criticizing either Pedro Nuno or Santos or Prime Minister Antonio Costa (some using football metaphors) on the evening of the game between the football club Porto and Benfica.
