A group of people gathered early on Monday morning, at 1:30 am, near the Lisbon prison, on the side of the Palace of Justice, and began throwing torches, rockets and cocktails into the prison.
While throwing objects, they sang songs alluding to Benfica and also sang congratulations to one of the prisoners.
A few minutes later the group left the area.
This was announced by the leader of the National Union of Prison Guards, Frederico Morais. CM appearance. “This is an episode that the union has predicted for a long time. We have already warned the oversight body (the Ministry of Justice) that an even more serious disaster could occur in Portuguese prisons,” he says.
