Tavares argued that Livre is an optimistic party, “but it is definitely not a naive party”, criticizing the PSD and Luis Montenegro for not “pulling the rug” out of Andre Ventura when he ran for the Social Democrats for Loures city council.
In a speech to about 100 supporters, Rui Tavares said voting for Livre “has three goals”: to ensure the party’s growth and reach the parliamentary group, to help the left win and to “remove extremists from power.”
