Luis Montenegro was appointed prime minister early this Thursday evening, after the results of the emigrant elections became known.
The AD leader has already expressed to the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebel de Sousa, his intention to form a government at a meeting that took place on Wednesday afternoon.
The inauguration of Montenegro will take place on April 2.
Future ministers and discarded names
There are names in the government led by AD who are starting to emerge as serious candidates for various positions. Paulo Macedo, you know CMTVwill be available for the post of Minister of Finance, and Pedro Duarte will be appointed to the post of Minister of Parliamentary Affairs.
Hugo Soares, who was once the leader of the PSD parliamentary group, should remain outside the government, and Leitan Amaru could take on the role of presidential minister.
