The Left Bloc (BE) refused to support the program of the right-wing coalition of the Democratic Alliance (AD), but did not comment on possible amendments to the budget.
“AD doesn’t want to solve the problems of the social network or the housing market. It is not capable of confronting climate change,” said Fabian Figueiredo, leader of the bloc parliamentary group. Thus, BE “will never support AD programs.”
Regarding possible amendments to the budget, the party chose not to comment on “non-existent documents” and pledged to announce a vote only after familiarizing itself with the document. The same applies to a motion to dismiss declared by the PCP.
However, the party supported the need to “turn the page on the war that the vast majority of PS have left in schools” and called for strengthening the security forces.
