This Saturday, the PKP “strongly condemned the terrorist attack” on Friday evening in Moscow and expressed hope that the circumstances “will be fully clarified” and those responsible will be held accountable.
In a statement from the PKP press service, the party “strongly condemns the terrorist attack carried out in Krasnogorsk on the outskirts of Moscow, which killed and injured more than a hundred people, and expresses regret and deepest condolences to the family members of the victim and the Russian people.”
“The PKP hopes that the circumstances surrounding this criminal act will be fully clarified and those responsible will be brought to justice.”
At least 143 people were killed on Friday in an attack on a concert hall on the outskirts of Moscow that was claimed by the Islamic State (IS) group, an investigative commission said today.
The attack has already been condemned in an official note by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and on the social network by Pedro Nuno Santos.
