A government source confirmed to Lusa that, as announced by Presidential Minister Mariana Vieira da Silva at a government meeting on Thursday, the legislative proposals required for the fifth allocation of Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) funds will be left ready for approval by the next leader.
In addition to the status of the implementation of the RDP, this Monday’s meeting will also feature the culmination of the legislative process on rural property reform and a diploma relating to careers for teachers of research and higher education in the private sector, which was at the stage of public consultation and will be finalized for negotiations with trade unions.
A new model of cultural patronage and the National Strategy for the Integration of Homeless People (ENIPSSA) are other diplomas on the agenda of the Council of Ministers, the same source said.
The participation of the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, in the executive session, the first of which will take place in the new government building, in the former premises of the Caixa Geral de Depósitos, takes place at the invitation of the Prime Minister, António’s office.
