GoPro video of a Guardia Civil soldier in Cadiz, Spain, shows the frightening moment as soldiers prepared to defend themselves against an attacking drug trafficking boat.
“Shoot in the air, damn it! They are coming for us,” you can hear in the video. Moments later, the outlaws’ boat rammed a police boat, killing two and injuring two.
The dead victims were David Perez, 43 years old, married with two children, who belonged to the Civil Guard’s rapid response group, and Miguel Gonzalez, 39 years old, born in Cadiz and part of the Special Underwater Activities Group, whose base is part of the Navarra Civil Guard Command .
The attack occurred on February 9. Six drug dealers were arrested and two others who were traveling by car to meet the criminals in Sotogrant were released with instructions to appear before a judge.
