Alverca athlete Mariana Rodríguez Silva, 14, died on Sunday in a collision between a car and a motorcycle at Estrada Nacional 248-3 in Aljandra. As a result of the same accident, another person, the father of a young woman, was killed and two were injured.
The information was confirmed in Morning Mail (CM) Fernando Orge, president of the Alverca football club, says the father and daughter were leaving a crowd of motorcyclists when the accident occurred.

The school where Mariana studied also expressed condolences to the girl’s family. “It is with great sadness that Bom Sucesso School Band announces the death of our 9th year student Mariana Silva, with our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
