Porto returned to their I Football League triumphs today, beating Casa Pia (2-1) in the 30th matchday game in Rio Mayor and moving back level with Sporting Braga in third place.
“Under pressure” from Braga fans, who on Saturday provisionally moved up to third place in the championship, the “dragons” gave a good response, winning with goals from Galeno in the 31st minute and Nico Gonzalez (56th) after the Casapians. Nuno Moreira still leveled the score (37).
Porto, which has not won in three rounds, now has 62 points, the same as Sporting Braga, while Casa Pia is in its third straight match without a win and remains ninth with 32 points.
